
Biography
Jonathan Wood is a professional photographer with over 10 years of experience in advertising and documentary photography. His work has been showcased by galleries such as Circa and Everard Read and has worked on leading advertising campaigns with agencies and clients from around the world, such as Ogilvy, TBWA and Jameson Global. His photography, which encompasses both commercial and documentary, is easily recognisable for its distinct style and technique.

Since studying photography in 2009, Jonathan’s passionate commitment has remained with frequent experimentation, new subjects and techniques to push the boundaries creatively. His personal work influences his commercial approach, keeping the imagery relevant for contemporary campaigns with a unique imagination. His latest body of work, ‘Citizen’, is a photo book about inner city Johannesburg compiled through multiple narratives and formats.
